Senior Web Designer and Development Needed for Consultancy Website Redesign

We are looking for a senior designer who can take a website from concept through final production in Framer. This is a full design-and-build engagement for an experience design and digital strategy consultancy. The site will be approximately 4 to 5 pages. We will provide a detailed creative brief, content, brand assets, visual references, and an existing visual foundation to work from. We have established colors, typography direction, brand principles, and elements of a design system, but we expect the selected designer to refine and extend that system for the website rather than simply reproduce what exists today. We need someone who can take that foundation, establish a strong creative direction, design the experience, and build the final responsive site in Framer. This is not a request for a generic consulting template. What we are looking for You should be able to own the full process: Translate a detailed brief into a strong creative direction Work from and evolve an existing design system Develop the visual language for the website Design approximately 4 to 5 pages Create responsive desktop and mobile experiences Refine typography, spacing, color, and reusable components Design purposeful motion and interaction Build the final site in Framer Configure CMS content where appropriate Optimize for accessibility and responsive behavior Prepare the site for launch Hand off a clean Framer project that we can maintain internally The work should feel editorial, sophisticated, and design-led. Our existing visual direction relies heavily on black, white, and red, with strong typography, intentional whitespace, and restrained interaction. We want a designer who will respect that foundation while pushing it into a stronger digital expression. What we do not want Please avoid: Generic SaaS layouts Endless rows of rounded cards Purple or blue AI gradients Robots, glowing brains, or other AI clichés Generic consulting stock photography Template-driven agency layouts Excessive animation Overly complicated Framer builds Fragile custom code that makes the site difficult to maintain The finished site should feel distinctive without sacrificing usability. Framer build requirements The final site must be easy for us to edit after delivery. We should be able to update copy, imagery, case studies, services, and other content without needing the original designer. Please structure the project using: Reusable Framer components Consistent text and color styles Logical naming conventions Flexible page sections CMS collections where appropriate Stable responsive behavior Minimal unnecessary overrides Clean component architecture The Framer implementation should extend the design system rather than become a collection of one-off page elements. If you use custom code, keep it limited and document it. We also expect a short handoff walkthrough at the end of the project. Your portfolio should demonstrate: Strong visual design Sophisticated typography Editorial or brand-led web experiences Framer expertise Responsive design Interaction design Experience working within and extending design systems Good judgment and restraint Clean production work Experience with consultancies, design firms, professional services, technology companies, architecture firms, or similarly content-rich businesses is a plus.
