Senior WordPress Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team on a long-term basis. This is an ongoing opportunity for a developer who takes ownership, writes clean and scalable code, and is passionate about building high-quality WordPress solutions. Beyond maintaining our existing website, you will play a key role in developing new features, improving performance, implementing technical enhancements, and helping shape the future of our digital platform. We're looking for someone who can think strategically, recommend best practices, and contribute as a long-term technical partner rather than simply completing individual tasks. Responsibilities Maintain, optimize, and continuously improve our WordPress website. Develop new features, templates, landing pages, and custom functionality. Build scalable solutions using WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve bugs efficiently. Optimize website performance, security, and SEO best practices. Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices. Work with designers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences. Recommend improvements to architecture, workflows, and development standards. Keep plugins, themes, and integrations up to date while maintaining site stability. Requirements 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience. Strong expertise in PHP, WordPress architecture, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins. Solid understanding of performance optimization and security best practices. Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services. Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently, communicate proactively, and take ownership of projects. Excellent English communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with WooCommerce. Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Elementor, or Gutenberg block development. Knowledge of MySQL and database optimization. Experience with hosting platforms, deployment workflows, and server management. Understanding of technical SEO and Core Web Vitals.
