About the Founder I bring more than 20 years of recruiting and talent acquisition experience and have supported more than 10,000 hires across multiple industries. Recruiting and career development are my strengths. I am seeking a strategic partner who complements my experience with expertise in workforce development, nonprofit strategy, public funding, government partnerships, and organizational growth. Although we are headquartered in Texas and expect our initial partnerships and programs to begin here, our long-term vision is to build a nationally recognized workforce development organization serving individuals, employers, educational institutions, nonprofits, and government agencies throughout the United States. ⸻ Project Overview This is NOT a traditional grant-writing project. We are not looking for someone to simply prepare grant applications. We are looking for a strategic consultant who understands how successful workforce development organizations are built, funded, operated, and scaled. Our objective is to develop the right organizational structure, funding strategy, and long-term implementation plan before pursuing grants and government contracts. We are seeking someone who thinks like a strategic advisor, not simply a proposal writer. ⸻ What We Need Help With The selected consultant will help us evaluate and develop: * Whether our long-term strategy should be for-profit, nonprofit, or a hybrid structure. * A roadmap for becoming a sustainable workforce development organization. * Federal, state, foundation, corporate, and workforce funding opportunities. * Government contracting opportunities. * Workforce development programs aligned with employer and government priorities. * Strategic partnerships with employers, workforce boards, educational institutions, nonprofits, and community organizations. * Program design and implementation strategy. * Grant readiness and organizational readiness. * A practical 12- to 24-month strategic growth roadmap. ⸻ Ideal Background We’re looking for professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas: * Workforce Development * Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) * U.S. Department of Labor * Employment and Training Administration (ETA) * Texas Workforce Commission * Workforce Development Boards * American Job Centers / Workforce Solutions * Government Grants * Government Contracting * Foundation Funding * Nonprofit Organizations * 501(c)(3) Strategy * Organizational Development * Strategic Planning * Program Development * Public-Private Partnerships ⸻ Deliverables We expect the consultant to provide recommendations regarding: * Organizational structure * Funding strategy * Program recommendations * Grant readiness * Government contract readiness * Partnership opportunities * Organizational strengths and gaps * Funding priorities * Implementation timeline * Strategic roadmap for growth ⸻ Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates who have: * Built or advised workforce development organizations. * Worked with Texas Workforce Commission or Workforce Solutions. * Experience with Department of Labor or WIOA-funded programs. * Helped organizations secure federal or state workforce funding. * Experience obtaining government service contracts. * Experience with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. * Experience serving on nonprofit leadership teams or boards. ⸻ Required Screening Questions Please answer all of the following: 1.
