Summary

Branchr is an existing, substantially built iPhone cycling app. The SwiftUI design and core product experience are already implemented. This is not a from-scratch design project. I need a senior iOS engineer to audit the current repository, finish the remaining launch-critical work, harden security and reliability, and take the app through TestFlight and App Store release. Eastern Europe is preferred, but strong candidates from any location may apply. Core technology: - Swift and SwiftUI - Xcode and native iOS frameworks - Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics, and Crashlytics - LiveKit real-time voice - Apple Music / MusicKit - StoreKit 2 - GitHub Primary responsibilities: - Audit the existing codebase and provide a precise written completion plan before changing major architecture. - Finish remaining launch-critical roadmap items and repair verified blockers without redesigning completed UI. - Stabilize Group Ride for up to 10 riders, including Bluetooth-headset voice, local Apple Music continuity, host/rider synchronization, join/rejoin, cleanup, and real-device proof. - Complete cross-user profile/avatar mirroring, privacy behavior, notifications, ride tracking, recap, and other release-critical flows. - Implement a hard subscription paywall using StoreKit 2. Users must have a valid entitlement before accessing the paid app experience. Include purchase, restore purchases, subscription status, expiry/cancellation handling, receipt or server-side entitlement verification where appropriate, and App Store-compliant Terms and Privacy links. - Perform a technical security and privacy audit: Firebase rules, App Check, authentication/authorization, Storage and Functions, secrets, rate limits, abuse prevention, account/data deletion, permission handling, third-party SDK review, and privacy-safe logging. - Implement App Store requirements for user-generated content, including report, block, moderation, removal, and support/contact paths where applicable. - Review performance, crashes, battery use, background behavior, network loss, and accessibility. - Prepare the final TestFlight build, App Store Connect submission, privacy disclosures, and respond to code-related App Review issues. - Produce setup, architecture, deployment, security, and maintenance documentation. Required experience: - Shipped native SwiftUI apps on the App Store - Strong Firebase security and backend experience - StoreKit 2 subscriptions and entitlement handling - Real-time audio, LiveKit, WebRTC, Bluetooth audio routes, or VoIP - TestFlight and App Store submission - Strong Git workflow, testing, debugging, and written communication Contract: Fixed-price total budget: $2,000. The amount is divided into acceptance milestones. Payment is released only after each milestone's documented requirements pass. Proposed milestones: 1. Repository audit and binding completion plan: $200 2. Security, Firebase, privacy, and backend hardening: $500 3. Remaining launch blockers, Group Ride reliability, paywall, and device validation: $600 4. Final regression testing, TestFlight, App Store approval, documentation, and handoff: $700 Definition of done: - The agreed launch-critical scope is implemented and committed to the repository. - No unresolved critical or high-severity security defects. - Group Ride voice and music pass two-phone real-device testing in both directions. - Firebase rules and required Functions are deployed and verified. - StoreKit subscription purchase, restore, entitlement, expiration, and paywall flows pass sandbox testing. - Required automated and manual release checks pass. - A release build is approved and available for sale on the App Store. - The repository is clean, current documentation is delivered, and a short post-launch warranty covers code-related defects. Please begin your proposal with: 1. Links to two shipped SwiftUI apps. 2. Your Firebase and StoreKit 2 experience. 3. Your LiveKit/WebRTC/Bluetooth audio experience. 4. The biggest technical risk you expect in this project. 5. Confirmation that you will inspect the existing repository before accepting the fixed completion scope. Legal drafting and legal opinions will be handled separately. The developer is responsible for implementing technical security, privacy, and App Store compliance requirements and cooperating with the owner's qualified legal reviewer.
