Server Administrator / WordPress Developer for Ongoing Maintenance & Technical Projects

We are looking for an experienced server administrator and WordPress developer to assist with ongoing server management, website maintenance, troubleshooting, and development projects. This is not strictly a WordPress design position. We need someone who is comfortable working on the server/backend side as well as handling WordPress-related tasks. You should be able to diagnose problems, work independently, and recommend practical solutions rather than simply following step-by-step instructions. Responsibilities may include: Linux server administration and troubleshooting Web server configuration and maintenance WordPress installation, configuration, updates, and maintenance Troubleshooting WordPress, PHP, database, plugin, and server-related issues Website migrations and domain/DNS configuration SSL certificate setup and troubleshooting MySQL/MariaDB database maintenance PHP configuration and troubleshooting Performance optimization and caching Server and website security Backup and recovery configuration Investigating server logs and resolving errors Plugin/theme troubleshooting and minor WordPress development General website maintenance and technical projects Helping identify and resolve unexpected server or website problems as they arise Ideal Experience We're looking for someone with strong experience in: Linux servers Apache and/or Nginx PHP MySQL/MariaDB WordPress DNS, domains, and SSL Server security and permissions Website/server migrations Performance troubleshooting cPanel, Plesk, WHM, or similar server management environments SSH and command-line server administration Knowledge of Cloudflare, Git, VPS/cloud hosting, email/DNS configuration, and server monitoring is also valuable. What We're Looking For We want someone who is: Reliable and available for ongoing projects Good at troubleshooting and finding the root cause of problems Comfortable working independently Able to clearly explain technical issues and proposed solutions Careful when making changes to production servers Responsive when unexpected website or server issues occur This will initially be project-based work, but we are specifically interested in finding someone we can work with long-term for ongoing server and website maintenance.
