Summary

Scope of work: Access and configure the existing InterServer VPS (login credentials provided) Basic server hardening: non-root sudo user, disable root SSH login, SSH key auth, firewall setup Install a LEMP or LAMP stack (Nginx or Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP — latest stable version) Install and configure WordPress with a secure wp-config.php Install SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt) for HTTPS Point domain DNS to the server (domain provided by client) Disable default WP-Cron, set up system cron instead Hand over server and WP admin credentials Requirements: Proven experience with InterServer VPS (or similar — Linode, DigitalOcean, Vultr) Strong Linux server admin skills (Ubuntu/CentOS/AlmaLinux) Experience with Nginx/Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP-FPM Solid WordPress installation and hardening experience Comfortable with SSH and command line
