T-Shirt Graphic Designer (Original Illustrations) – Long-Term POD Partnership

About the Project I'm building several print-on-demand apparel brands and am looking for a talented graphic designer to become a long-term creative partner. I'm not looking for AI-generated artwork or someone who simply combines stock graphics. I'm looking for an artist who can create original, commercial-quality designs from scratch. I'll provide creative direction, inspiration images, rough mockups, and design concepts, but I also want someone who enjoys contributing ideas and helping develop products that customers will love. If we're a good fit, this will be an ongoing relationship with consistent work. Current Brand Themes Current niches include: - Women's outdoor adventure (hiking, mountains, sunsets, camping, RV life) - Women in aviation - Giant dog breed lovers (Great Danes, Newfoundlands, Saint Bernards, Irish Wolfhounds, Mastiffs, etc.) - Lifestyle and identity-focused apparel Future niches will be added over time. What You'll Do Create original t-shirt graphics based on creative briefs Transform rough sketches or ideas into polished artwork Contribute your own creative concepts and design suggestions Produce print-ready vector or high-resolution artwork Revise designs based on feedback Help build cohesive collections rather than one-off designs What I'm Looking For Strong illustration and typography skills Experience designing apparel graphics Ability to create original artwork (not AI-generated) Strong understanding of composition, balance, and color Comfortable working in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Affinity Designer, or similar professional software Good communication and reliable turnaround times Someone interested in a long-term working relationship Nice to Have Experience designing for print-on-demand Knowledge of Etsy, Amazon Merch, or Shopify apparel trends Experience creating vintage, retro, outdoor, or lifestyle-inspired designs Ability to hand-letter or create custom typography Deliverables Please provide: Editable source files (AI, EPS, PSD, or SVG where appropriate) High-resolution transparent PNG files Fonts either outlined or properly licensed Artwork that is original and suitable for commercial use To Apply Please include: + A portfolio of apparel or graphic design work. + Three designs you're most proud of and why. + Whether you create your artwork by hand, digitally, or a combination. + Your typical turnaround time for one t-shirt design. + The word "Summit" at the beginning of your proposal so I know you've read the entire listing. Artwork must be original and created by you. Final deliverables may not contain AI-generated imagery, copied artwork, stock illustrations, or designs that infringe on another artist's work. You should be able to explain your design process and provide editable source files. I'm looking for someone who enjoys building brands—not just completing individual projects. If we work well together, I expect this to become a long-term collaboration with regular design work.
