Shopify Brand Colour Specialist

We’re looking for a branding and colour specialist to define a clear colour system for our e-commerce website and implement it directly in Shopify. The scope is focused only on colours. We are not looking for a full website redesign, new layouts, or development work. You will review our existing brand, products, logo, and website to determine which colours work best for a fun, colourful, and trustworthy e-commerce brand. You will then create a consistent colour scheme and apply it through the Shopify theme editor. Responsibilities Review our current website, logo, product imagery, and brand direction Identify the most suitable primary, secondary, accent, and neutral colours Create a consistent website colour palette with HEX codes Ensure the colours provide strong readability and accessibility Define colours for backgrounds, buttons, headings, text, announcement bars, badges, links, and promotional sections Test the palette across desktop and mobile Apply the approved colours directly through the Shopify theme editor Ensure the website remains playful and colourful without looking messy, cheap, or overly childish Important Scope This project is strictly focused on the website’s colour system. You will not be responsible for changing the layout, creating graphics, rewriting copy, or redesigning the website. Requirements Strong understanding of branding, colour theory, and e-commerce design Previous experience working with Shopify themes Ability to balance playful branding with trust and conversion Strong understanding of contrast, readability, and mobile design Portfolio examples showing colour systems or e-commerce website work Deliverables Final website colour palette with HEX codes Clear guidance showing where each colour should be used Full implementation of the approved palette in Shopify Final desktop and mobile colour review Corrections to any sections with poor contrast or inconsistent colours When Applying Please include: Relevant Shopify or e-commerce examples Examples of colour palette or brand colour work A brief explanation of how you approach website colour selection Your estimated price for the complete project Applications without relevant design examples will not be considered.
