Shopify Metaobject Updates – Approx. 1 Day Task Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced with Shopify metaobjects/metafields to complete a bulk update to our existing materials library. This is primarily Shopify admin/data-entry work, not website development or design. I estimate this to be approximately one full working day. 1. Update 290 Existing Fabric Metaobjects We currently have approximately 290 fabric metaobjects already created in Shopify. I will provide a spreadsheet/document containing the new description copy. For each existing fabric: Update the description only using the copy provided 2. Create 60 Fabric Metaobjects Create a new fabric group called Supervio, following exactly the same structure as our existing fabric groups. There are approximately 60 colours. For each colour: * Create a new individual metaobject * Add the correct colour name * Download the corresponding fabric image from the supplier website I provide * Upload the image to Shopify * Add the description/information provided * Assign the colour to the fabric group Total scope: * 290 existing descriptions to update * 60 new fabric metaobjects to create * 60 fabric images to download and upload 350 entries in total There will also be significantly more work available after this task for the right person. We are currently updating our Shopify store and will need ongoing help with updating product information, maintaining Excel/product spreadsheets, uploading and updating Shopify products, materials and other bulk data-entry work. I’m ideally looking for someone reliable and detail-oriented who can continue helping with these tasks after this initial project.
