Shopify Dev/API Expert

We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer to help build a custom Shopify solution for a professional beauty / hair extension brand. This is not a basic Shopify theme customization project. We need a senior Shopify developer with strong experience in Shopify API, custom app development, customer authentication workflows, gated product access, and restricted purchasing logic. The main goal is to create a Shopify experience where exclusive products are only available to approved professional stylists. Stylists should be required to submit license information before being approved to access or purchase certain products. Project Scope We need support with: Custom Shopify app development Shopify Admin API and Storefront API implementation Shopify GraphQL API work Custom customer authentication and approval workflows Stylist license submission and review workflow Restricted access to exclusive products or collections Purchase restrictions for unapproved customers Customer tagging, metafields, segments, or access-level logic Professional buyer / stylist-only portal experience Backend logic for approval status and product eligibility Shopify theme integration where needed QA testing across user states Documentation and admin handoff
