The ideal person will be able to design and code, rather than simply install apps or make basic theme edits. 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 Some of the areas we expect to work on include: • Improving the overall Shopify store design • Improving product pages • Improving product/variant selection • Creating a cleaner and more professional purchasing experience • Improving mobile responsiveness • Improving navigation and collection pages • Custom Shopify functionality where required • Making the store easier to use for both wholesale/B2B customers and normal consumers • Improving the visual consistency of the website • Ensuring the site looks professional across desktop, tablet and mobile • Identifying areas where the current website can be improved from both a design and technical perspective We already have an existing Shopify store, so this is not a project where you will be starting completely from scratch. 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 We are not looking for someone who only knows how to use the Shopify customiser. We specifically need someone who can write code and understand Shopify development properly. We also don't want a designer who simply creates Figma designs and expects somebody else to implement them. The ideal candidate can: Design → Develop → Test → Refine all themselves. 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 You should have: • Strong Shopify development experience • Excellent Liquid knowledge • Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills • Strong understanding of responsive design • Good UI/UX design ability • Experience building or customising Shopify e-commerce stores • Good understanding of conversion-focused e-commerce design • Ability to work independently • Good attention to detail • Ability to communicate clearly • Ability to suggest improvements rather than simply follow instructions Experience with Shopify Plus, Shopify Functions, custom apps or advanced Shopify development would be beneficial but is not essential.
