Shopify Developer - Premium Food Website

Shopify Developer Needed — Shopify Collective / Retailer Integration for Premium Food Brand - Fluent English - Individual Freelancer only - No Agencies. - Must work on US Eastern time. We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer/integration specialist to implement a Shopify-to-Shopify retail integration for a premium food brand. This is a relatively focused project — 2 products to start — but the order flow, delivery-date data, inventory synchronization, and fulfillment process must work accurately. Project Overview - Our products will be sold directly on a retail partner’s Shopify website. - The retailer will not hold inventory or fulfill the orders The intended flow is: - Customer shops on retailer website → places order → order flows into our Shopify store → we fulfill the order We expect Shopify Collective may be the best solution, but we are open to recommendations from someone who has implemented similar, simple integrations before. Required Functionality 1. Shopify-to-Shopify Integration Set up the connection between our Shopify store and the retailer’s Shopify store, most likely using Shopify Collective 2. Initially, only 2 products will be offered through the retailer. 3.Order Flow When a customer places an order on the retailer’s website, the order needs to flow automatically into our Shopify store for fulfillment. The order information passed to us must include: * Product * Quantity * Customer name * Order information * Delivery date 3. Delivery Date Integration/. This is an important requirement. - Customers will select their requested delivery date while ordering on the retailer’s website That delivery date must be transferred with the order into our Shopify system so our fulfillment team can process it correctly. (on our website we currently use One Click Delivery Date Picker app for delivery dates) 4. Fulfillment. We will handle all fulfillment. Unlike standard DTC orders, all orders generated through this retailer will be shipped to one retail location The integration/order workflow should make it easy for our fulfillment team to identify these orders and their required delivery dates. 5. Inventory Synchronization Our inventory is currently managed through QuickBooks Online with an integration into our Shopify store We need to make sure orders originating from the retailer are properly reflected in our Shopify inventory and do not create inventory synchronization issues with our current QuickBooks workflow. Experience Required We are specifically looking for someone who has already implemented Shopify-to-Shopify integrations like this In your application, please provide: * Specific examples of Shopify Collective or Shopify-to-Shopify integrations that you have completed * What platforms/apps were involved * How orders and inventory were synchronized * Whether you have worked with delivery-date/order attribute integrations Proposal Requirements Please provide: 1. Resources required What access, apps, developers, or support would you need from us and/or the retailer? 4. Testing plan How will you confirm that orders, delivery dates, inventory, and fulfillment information are transferring correctly? 5. Fixed-price quote We are looking to complete this project on a fixed-price basis, not hourly.
