Shopify Developer / Website Optimization
Worldwide
SHOPIFY DEVELOPER / WEBSITE OPTIMIZATION We’re an independent streetwear brand looking for a Shopify developer to help us make some improvements to our existing website. Our site is already built and functioning well. We’re not looking for a redesign or full overhaul. We’re mainly looking for someone who can help us make thoughtful improvements, give us advice on areas that could be stronger, and help build out a few new features. A few things we’re currently thinking about: * Improving our product pages * Making our collection pages a little stronger and easier to browse * General UX and mobile improvements where needed * Reviewing our current shopping experience and recommending small improvements * Building out a strong, easy-to-use blog/editorial section * Helping us create an Archive section for past products and collections * Creating a better experience for sold-out products, including Klaviyo restock signup forms * Helping automate some of the organization around sold-out/archive products where possible BLOG / EDITORIAL One of our main priorities is building out a better blog. We plan to publish weekly content around: * Collection inspiration * Design and development process * Behind-the-scenes stories * Brand history and archive content * General stories that give more context to the brand and our products We want this to be very easy for our team to manage internally. Ideally, we should be able to publish polished articles using photos, videos, text, product links, etc. without needing a developer every time. ARCHIVE We’d also like to create an Archive section where customers can browse past designs and collections. For sold-out products, we’d like to explore a system where they can automatically be added to the Archive while still keeping the original product page accessible. We assume this would just be a collection page but it should act a little differently than our usual collection page. Where relevant, we’d also like sold-out pages to include a Klaviyo restock signup. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for someone with strong Shopify experience who can both execute and give us good recommendations. Experience with fashion, streetwear, or other design-driven brands is a big plus. We care a lot about maintaining the look and feel of the brand, so we’re not looking for someone who is going to completely change the site or add a bunch of aggressive e-commerce features. The goal is simply to make what we already have better, easier to use, and more complete. WHEN APPLYING Please send: 1. A few Shopify websites you’ve personally worked on 2. Any examples of blogs/editorial sections you’ve built 3. Any fashion or streetwear experience 4. Your experience with Shopify + Klaviyo 5. Your hourly rate or preferred project structure We’d also love for you to take a quick look at our current website and let us know if there are any immediate improvements you notice.
