Shopify Ecommerce SEO Specialist – Technical SEO, Search Console & Organic Revenue Growth
Worldwide
About Us Rogue Royalty is an established Australian premium dog equipment brand with over 16 years in business, selling throughout Australia and internationally. We are looking for an experienced Shopify Ecommerce SEO Specialist ( NOT AN AGENCY) to audit and improve our organic search performance. Experience in pet industry is highly regarded and you need to show tangible results of recent SEO work you have done and what difference you made. **Refer to attached Scope of Works. Based on this we can only proceed with proposals that provide a timeframe/price estimate upfront** We need to get moving on this and want an individual who can provide us with the attention and service we need.Must be able to meet via video meet (it's eassier and more effective) to resolv issues etc. This is not a generic SEO/content-writing role. We already have significant organic traffic, an established domain, hundreds of products and existing rankings. Our concern is that recent increases in organic search traffic are not translating proportionately into sales, while some important high-commercial-intent keywords and collection pages have lost visibility. We want someone who can determine why, fix the underlying SEO architecture and help us grow qualified organic traffic and revenue — not traffic for traffic's sake. What We Need We need a specialist who can analyse Google Search Console, GA4 and our Shopify site together to understand: Which queries and landing pages are driving our organic growth Which traffic has genuine commercial intent Which pages and keywords have gained or lost rankings Why increased organic traffic isn't translating proportionately into revenue Whether informational/blog traffic is inflating overall organic growth Whether collection pages are competing against each other for similar keywords Whether Shopify tag, filter or collection URLs are creating duplicate or competing pages Whether canonicalisation, indexation or faceted-navigation issues are diluting authority How our collection and product architecture can be improved Key Areas of Work 1. Google Search Console + GA4 Analysis We want Search Console and GA4 analysed together — not separate generic reports. We need to understand the relationship between: Queries → Rankings → Clicks → Landing Pages → Product Engagement → Transactions → Revenue Our primary KPI is organic revenue, not simply impressions or traffic. 2. Shopify Technical SEO Audit Review the site for issues including: Collection architecture Shopify tag URLs Filter/faceted navigation Duplicate or near-duplicate collection pages Canonical implementation Indexation Crawl efficiency Internal linking Sitemap/indexing issues Redirects Product/collection relationships Schema/structured data where relevant Potential keyword cannibalisation We already suspect that Shopify has generated multiple tag/collection URL variations around some of our important categories. We need someone who understands how to diagnose and correctly handle these issues without damaging existing rankings. 3. Collection Page SEO Architecture Our major commercial categories include: Dog Collars Dog Harnesses Dog Leashes Leather Dog Collars Heavy Duty Dog Equipment Training Collars Studded Collars Chain & Cuban Link Collars Puppy Harnesses Small / Medium / Large Dog Harnesses We want each important collection to have a clear primary search intent, with supporting child collections and content structured appropriately. We do NOT want every collection stuffed with 1,500–2,000 words of generic AI SEO content. The objective is to create a logical ecommerce architecture where Google clearly understands which page should rank for each important commercial search. 4. Commercial Keyword Recovery & Growth Identify commercially valuable keywords where Rogue Royalty: Previously ranked strongly but has declined Is currently sitting within striking distance of page-one/top positions Has strong impressions but weak CTR Has strong traffic but weak conversion Has an opportunity to build category authority Prioritisation should consider potential revenue, not just search volume. 5. Organic Conversion Quality We are particularly interested in understanding why organic traffic growth has not translated proportionately into sales. We want to distinguish between: More traffic and better traffic. The successful specialist should be comfortable analysing landing-page intent and identifying whether Google is sending visitors to pages that genuinely match Rogue Royalty's products and target customer. What We DON'T Want We are not looking for someone whose standard strategy is: “Publish more blogs” Mass AI-generated content Keyword stuffing Generic backlink packages Monthly ranking reports with no commercial analysis Increasing traffic without considering conversion or revenue Rewriting pages simply to satisfy an SEO content score We already have an established brand, products, content and organic visibility. We need someone who can diagnose, prioritise and improve what already exists. Experience Required Please apply only if you have strong experience with: Shopify SEO Ecommerce SEO Google Search Console GA4 Technical SEO Collection/category architecture Canonicals and indexation Shopify faceted navigation and tag URLs Keyword cannibalisation Internal linking Commercial keyword research Organic conversion/revenue analysis Experience with established ecommerce stores is strongly preferred. How We Will Measure Success Our primary measurements will include: Organic revenue Organic conversion rate Organic transactions Qualified non-brand organic clicks Commercial keyword rankings Collection-page organic performance Revenue by organic landing page Traffic and impressions matter, but revenue and commercially relevant visibility matter more. How to Apply Please do not send a generic SEO proposal. Start your application with the words: “ECOMMERCE SEO” Then provide: Two examples of Shopify ecommerce stores where you have handled technical/category SEO. What you changed and the measurable outcome. Your experience analysing Google Search Console and GA4 together. Your experience dealing with Shopify tag URLs, faceted navigation, canonicals and collection-page cannibalisation. Finally, review this page: Rogue Royalty – Dog Collars https://rogueroyalty.com.au/collections/dog-collars Briefly tell us: What would you investigate first from a technical SEO and search-intent perspective? Do not rewrite the page or give us a generic SEO score. We want to see how you think. Initial Project The first stage will be an SEO diagnostic and prioritised action plan. We want clear answers to: What's wrong? Why does it matter? What should be fixed first? What is the expected commercial opportunity? How will we measure whether it worked? For the right specialist, this can become an ongoing relationship managing and improving Rogue Royalty's organic search performance.
