Shopify & Etsy Store Builder Needed for Luxury Home Fragrance & Body Care Brand Project Overview We are launching a premium handcrafted home fragrance and body care brand and are looking for an experienced eCommerce expert to build and optimize both our Shopify website and Etsy storefront. Our brand has a clean, elevated, luxury aesthetic—not rustic or overly "crafty." We want a beautiful shopping experience that feels boutique, modern, and polished. This is a project-based opportunity with the potential for an ongoing relationship as we continue to launch new products. Current and upcoming products include: * Hand-poured candles * Reed diffusers * Artisan soaps * Sugar scrubs * Body butters * Lip balms * Home fragrance products * Seasonal collections Responsibilities: Shopify * Build a beautiful, high-converting Shopify store * Configure theme and customize pages * Create collections and navigation * Upload products * Write compelling, SEO-optimized product descriptions * Configure product variants * Set up shipping, taxes, and policies * Optimize mobile experience * Recommend and install appropriate Shopify apps * Configure email capture and basic Klaviyo flows (preferred) * Improve overall conversion rate and customer experience Etsy * Build and optimize our Etsy shop * Create listings * Write Etsy SEO titles, descriptions, and tags * Create listing images/mockups if needed * Configure shop policies and shipping profiles * Optimize listings for Etsy search visibility Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: * Has extensive Shopify experience * Has proven success growing Etsy shops * Understands eCommerce conversion optimization * Has strong copywriting and SEO skills * Has a great eye for branding and design * Can make recommendations rather than simply following instructions * Communicates proactively and meets deadlines Please Include With Your Proposal * Links to Shopify stores you've built * Links to Etsy shops you've worked on * Examples of luxury or lifestyle brands you've supported * Your estimated timeline * Your fixed-price quote (or milestone proposal) * Whether you offer ongoing monthly support Bonus Skills * Product photography or image editing * Canva or Adobe Creative Suite * Klaviyo email marketing * Pinterest marketing * Meta Shop integration * Google Shopping * Amazon Handmade experience We're looking for someone who can become a long-term partner as our brand grows, not just complete a one-time setup.
