Shopify Front-End Developer (3-Week Contract | Immediate Start)

We're looking for an experienced Shopify front-end developer to help complete and launch an existing website for Good Black Art. This is an execution role, not a design role. The website is already built, the homepage is complete, most content is finalized, and the design direction has been established. We're looking for someone who can step into an existing codebase, execute efficiently, solve problems, and help us cross the finish line. Project Overview 1. Existing Shopify website 2. Homepage complete 3. Six remaining pages to complete 4. Two pages are largely complete in Figma 5. Copy, imagery, and content are ready 6. Existing files and assets will be provided Responsibilities 1. Build and refine the remaining pages 2. Implement existing Figma designs 3. Ensure responsive performance across desktop and mobile QA, testing, and bug fixes before launch 4. Identify opportunities to improve usability and performance Communicate proactively and keep the project moving forward What We're Looking For 1. 3+ years of Shopify development experience 2. Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 3. Experience working within an existing Shopify theme 4. Reliable, responsive, and able to meet deadlines 5. Detail-oriented with excellent execution skills 6. Comfortable taking ownership and making thoughtful recommendations 7. Able to work independently with minimal oversight We're looking for someone who doesn't just complete tasks, but can help lead the execution of the final phase of the project by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and keeping momentum through launch.
