Shopify Web Designer & Developer for Creative Y2K Fashion Brand Website
Worldwide
I’m looking for a talented Shopify web designer/developer to creatively design and build the full e-commerce website for my clothing brand, Saint Pink. I already have my logo, branding, product photography, product images, moodboards, and visual references. I’m looking for someone who can take my vision and transform it into a fully designed, functional Shopify website. This is not a request for a basic Shopify template with different colors. I want something immersive, creative, visually unique, and full of personality. The aesthetic is inspired by late 90s/early 2000s internet culture, Y2K fashion, Tumblr, indie sleaze, dreamy imagery, soft grunge, fairycore, fashion editorials, and nostalgic web design. I love the creativity, experimentation, personality, and unexpected details found on old websites—but I want it executed in a modern, polished, fashion-forward way. I’m looking for someone who can help create a website that feels like an entire digital world around the brand, while still being easy and intuitive to shop. Scope may include: Full Shopify store setup and customization Creative homepage design Custom or heavily customized Shopify theme Navigation and site structure Collection and product pages Mobile-responsive design Interactive details, animations, and creative web elements where appropriate Cart and general e-commerce functionality Uploading/organizing the visual assets I provide Making sure the website is polished and ready to launch Ideal candidate: Please have experience with Shopify, custom web design, fashion/e-commerce websites, and responsive/mobile-first design. I’m especially interested in designers/developers who have a strong creative eye and can work from moodboards and references to create something original, rather than simply replicating a standard template. When applying, please send me examples of Shopify or e-commerce websites you have personally designed and built, especially any that are creative, experimental, fashion-focused, or visually unique. I’ll provide selected candidates with my Saint Pink moodboards, product photography, branding, website references, and detailed creative direction. Please note: I want someone who can actually design and build the website, not just advise me on how to use Shopify. This is a really good example of the website structure and old-internet feeling I want: 1999-style website reference https://sophieswebsite1999.neocities.org?utm_source=chatgpt.com I also found the source code for this project here, which may help you understand how it was built: Source code reference https://github.com/sophiekoonin/1999stylewebsite?utm_source=chatgpt.com I obviously don't want to copy this website exactly, but I want Saint Pink to have a similar Web 1.0 / early-internet structure and personality, customized into a dreamy, feminine fashion e-commerce website. I want things like full-page backgrounds, playful typography, old-school navigation, decorative graphics, unexpected layouts, and interactive details—but combined with a fully functional modern Shopify store. like this website: https://sophieswebsite1999.neocities.org/
