Shopify Website and Store Development

Hi! We're an established silicone placemat brand (heat-proof, waterproof, food-grade) with 6+ years of experience selling on Amazon FBA, now building out our own branded Shopify store to complement our Amazon presence. We're looking for a freelancer who can help us with: 1. Basic on-page SEO setup — meta descriptions, image ALT text, clean URL/handle structure, proper heading hierarchy, and sitemap/robots.txt configuration 2. UI/UX design improvements focused on increasing conversion rate — a polished, professional look that builds trust and reflects our brand identity 3. Smoothing out the customer journey/flow — from landing page through product pages to checkout, removing friction points 4. Integrating a few Shopify apps/extensions (e.g. reviews import, fulfillment-related tools) into our existing setup 5. Working within our current theme (Prestige) to build out a cohesive, on-brand storefront rather than a generic template look What we're hoping to find in a freelancer: 1. Experience designing Shopify stores for consumer/lifestyle brands, ideally with a portfolio we can review 2. Someone who can think beyond just "make it look nice" — we'd love a designer who also asks strategic questions like: What motivates our customers to buy directly from our own store instead of Amazon? Who are our competitors, and how do we differentiate? 3. Clear, transparent communication and realistic timelines 4. Comfortable working with our existing purchased theme rather than needing to rebuild from scratch
