Shopify and Quickbooks Integration

We are a cycling apparel company with an online Shopify store and custom orders, and we are looking for an expert in Shopify, QuickBooks Online, and A2X to help us clean up and improve our accounting integration. The integration will be done through our test accounts for both Shopify and Quickbooks. We are currently experiencing issues with duplicate transactions being created in QuickBooks and transactions being posted to the wrong accounts or categories. At the moment, Shopify transactions are primarily coming into QuickBooks as Sales Receipts, and we want to make sure our accounting workflow is set up correctly for our business. We need someone who can review our current Shopify and QuickBooks integration, identify and correct the duplication and mapping issues, and ensure that our sales, refunds, Shopify fees, taxes, and deposits are being recorded accurately. We also need to make sure our Shopify deposits reconcile properly to our bank accounts and that our financial records and financial statements are complete, accurate, and properly organized, including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and other applicable financial reports. We are also having issues with certain Shopify reports changing after a month has already been closed. For example, our inventory reports can change after the month-end period has passed, which makes it difficult to ensure that our monthly financial records and reporting remain consistent and accurate. We need someone who can help us understand why these reports are changing, determine the correct way to handle month-end reporting in Shopify and QuickBooks, and establish a reliable process to prevent or properly account for these changes going forward. Because we also process custom orders, we need help establishing the proper workflow for customer invoices and deposits. We want to clearly see how much a customer has paid and how much they still owe after receiving their order. We also need guidance on properly recording import/vendor invoices through QuickBooks so they are accurately reflected in our accounting records and financial statements. We would also like someone with experience using A2X to help us set it up or review our current setup and ensure Shopify, A2X, and QuickBooks are working together properly for accurate reporting and reconciliation. Our goal is to have a clean, organized, and reliable Shopify ,A2X,QuickBooks workflow that accurately reflects our business activity and produces accurate financial information that we can rely on for reporting, tax purposes, and business decisions. This is a fixed-price project, not an hourly position. Payment will be made once the agreed-upon work has been completed and reviewed. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience troubleshooting Shopify and QuickBooks integrations, A2X, e-commerce accounting, reconciliations, inventory reporting, sales tax, customer deposits, and financial statement cleanup.
