Short-Form Content Operations Manager (Organization + Systems + Analytics)

Summary

We're looking for an exceptionally organized person to own the operational side of our short-form content pipeline. This is NOT primarily a creative editing role or a social media management role. It's an operations, organization, and optimization role. We're looking for someone who naturally thinks in systems. If your instinct is to create naming conventions, workflows, checklists, dashboards, and scalable processes before diving into the work itself, you're probably the type of person we're looking for. We produce a large amount of content from live music events, and we need someone to build and own the system that keeps every asset organized, every variation accounted for, and every piece of performance data feeding back into future decisions. This is not a community management or day-to-day social media posting role. While this may expand in the future, today we're looking for someone to build and manage the systems behind our content operation: organization, asset management, workflow, optimization, and analytics. Responsibilities - Own our short-form content pipeline from source footage to organized content library. - Build and maintain a master database of every content asset and every variation. - Coordinate the creation of multiple versions of each clip (different hooks, lengths, crops, framing, intros, openings, etc.). - Create those variations yourself or manage an editor who does—we're happy with either approach. - Develop naming conventions and organizational systems that scale. - Recommend which content variants should be published to which platforms and accounts. - Track the lifecycle of every asset so nothing is duplicated, forgotten, or lost. - Analyze content performance to identify winning hooks, edits, captions, formats, lengths, and trends. - Proactively alert us to standout performers and recommend what we should create more (or less) of. We'll Provide - Initial selects from long-form footage. - Caption copy and messaging. - Brand direction and creative goals. - Creative feedback when needed. Your responsibility is turning those assets into an organized, scalable content system that continually improves over time. Ideal Candidate - Exceptionally organized (this is the #1 requirement). - Loves building systems and workflows. - Thinks in processes rather than tasks. - Comfortable managing hundreds of content assets and variations. - Understands short-form content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. - Can identify patterns in analytics and turn them into actionable recommendations. - Self-directed and proactive. - Excellent attention to detail. - Comfortable using spreadsheets, Airtable, Notion, or similar organizational tools. - Basic video editing skills are a plus, but not required if you can effectively manage editors. To Apply Please include: - Examples of systems, databases, or workflows you've built to organize content. - Examples of accounts or content libraries you've managed. - Any experience creating or coordinating high-volume short-form content. - A brief explanation of how you would organize hundreds of clips with multiple versions while ensuring nothing gets lost or duplicated. Success in this role means that at any moment, we can instantly answer questions like: - How many versions of this clip exist? - Which hook performed best? - Has this variation already been posted? - Which editor created it? - Which platforms have used it? - What should we create next based on the data? If helping build that kind of content operating system sounds exciting, we'd love to hear from you.
