Short-Form Video Editor for Growing Creator Community (UGC/TikTok Shop Experience a Plus)

We're a fast-growing online community of 100+ content creators — including TikTok Shop sellers, UGC creators, and LIVE streamers — looking for a reliable video editor to support our members with high-quality short-form content editing. This is an ongoing, member-facing role. You'll be editing raw footage submitted by a large and growing roster of creators, not a single client, with real potential to scale into steady, recurring monthly work as demand grows. What you'll be doing: Editing short-form vertical video content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) submitted by community members Building strong hooks (first 3 seconds), tight pacing, captions, B-roll, and sound design that drive views and retention Managing a queue of edits across multiple creators at once, hitting fast, consistent turnaround times Following each creator's notes, brand guidelines, and style preferences per submission Requirements: Strong, demonstrated experience editing short-form vertical video content (please include samples) Solid understanding of current short-form trends, pacing, and retention-driven editing Comfortable with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools Highly organized — able to manage multiple concurrent projects and turnaround deadlines Clear, reliable communicator who can work async with a remote team Strongly preferred: Experience editing UGC content (testimonial-style, product demo, unboxing/review formats) Experience editing TikTok Shop content specifically (buyer-psychology-driven pacing, CTA placement, compliant on-screen claims) Compensation: This role starts as per-video pricing based on experience and edit complexity, with the opportunity to transition into a monthly retainer/package rate as volume grows and a good consistent working relationship is established.
