Short-Form Video Editor for Health & Wellness Brand (Reels / Shorts, Fast Turnaround)

I run a health and wellness brand focused on biohacking, peptides, and longevity for women. I post consistently across multiple social platforms and I am looking for a short-form video editor to take editing off my plate on an ongoing basis. What you will be doing: - Editing 2 to 3 short-form videos per week from footage I send you (b-roll, talking-head clips, phone footage, screen recordings or you source b-roll) - Sourcing trending audio and adapting the edit to fit the trend or sound - Creating the cover frame or thumbnail for each video - Adding clean, readable on-screen captions and text hooks - Delivering each video in a vertical format that can be published across multiple platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Pinterest) What I am looking for: - Confident in CapCut, or a comparable editor such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut. I do not care which tool you use as long as the output is clean and you can work fast in it. - You actually watch short-form content and know what is trending right now. You should be able to tell me why a particular sound, cut, or hook style is working this month. - Strong sense of pacing and retention. The first second matters more than anything else in the video. - Fast turnaround. My standard expectation is a first draft back within 48 hours of receiving footage, and same-day or next-day on revisions. If that does not work for your schedule, this is not the right fit. - Clear, responsive communication. I need to be able to send you a batch of footage with short direction and trust it comes back done. Ideally over WhatsApp. - Bonus if you have edited in the health, fitness, beauty, or wellness space before. How this works: - I batch my filming, so you will usually get footage in one drop at the start of the week. I will send you the raw clips plus a short brief with the hook, the caption, and the direction for each video. You handle the edit, the sound, the captions, and the cover frame, and send it back ready to publish. - This starts as a per-video fixed rate and I am looking for someone long term.
