Short Form Video Producer

We produce short, hyper-local **lifestyle videos** — think "5 things to do," local guides, hidden gems, and day-trip style content about specific towns and neighborhoods (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook). Our clients are local real estate agents who appear briefly on camera, but the content itself is upbeat local lifestyle/travel-style video, **not** property tours or listing walkthroughs. We're looking for a reliable **video producer/editor** to turn our scripts into finished, polished, post-ready videos — on a **steady, ongoing basis** (multiple videos per month, growing). The content is about the **Chicagoland area** (Chicago and its suburbs) — so you'll be sourcing US-based footage and animating Chicago-area geography. **You can be based anywhere in the world — this is 100% remote.** This is a **producer** role, not just an editor. You'll take our script and on-camera footage and independently build the entire rest of the video. ### What we provide for each video: - The full script (on-camera hook, narrated body, on-camera closing) - The agent's recorded on-camera clips (the intro hook and the closing) - The agent's end/contact screen (branding provided) - Music beds for the videos ### What you produce: - Each vertical video should be :45-:60. - **AI voiceover** for the narrated body (ElevenLabs or similar — natural, well-paced delivery) - **Source and license all b-roll / stock footage** - **Google Earth Studio animations** (zooms/flyovers for location & proximity shots) - Full edit assembling the on-camera clips + voiceover + visuals - **On-screen captions** (always on, clean and readable) - Branding, lower-thirds, transitions, title cards, and the provided end screen - Final assembly to spec ### Deliverables per video: - **9:16 vertical** master — **captions ON, music ON** - **9:16 vertical** master — **captions ON, music OFF** - **Thumbnail / cover image** with the video title displayed on screen - (Nice to have) an .srt caption file **Format is always 9:16 vertical. Captions are always on. ~45-ish seconds per video.** ### Must-haves: - Strong short-form social editing with motion graphics (please share a reel — snappy social edits, not wedding/corporate work) - Hands-on experience with **Google Earth Studio** - Experience generating and pacing **AI voiceovers** (ElevenLabs or comparable) - Proper handling of **commercial/paid-ad asset licensing** — we run paid/boosted ads, so all footage, images, and music must be legally cleared for that use - Consistency: you'll work from a brand style guide so every video matches - Reliable turnaround and communication for ongoing volume ### Nice-to-haves: - Local lifestyle, travel, or city-guide style content experience (this is the vibe we're going for) - Comfort adding simple on-screen compliance elements (e.g., an "AI-assisted" disclosure and brokerage/license attribution — we'll tell you exactly what's required) ### Reference example: **A rough example video is attached/linked below.** It shows the general style and structure we're going for — please treat it as directional, not a ceiling.
