Signage Graphic Designer (Shop Drawings & Production Artwork) About the Project We are a rapidly growing Australian signage and print company looking for an experienced Graphic Designer with signage industry experience to become an ongoing part of our team. Initially, we're seeking a freelancer who can support our existing workflow, with the potential for a long-term relationship as our workload grows. Scope of Work You'll be responsible for creating professional signage documentation and production-ready artwork, including: * Shop drawings for client approval * Signage concepts and visualisations * Production artwork and construction files * Print-ready files for large and small format printing * ACM, illuminated signs, vinyl graphics, wall graphics and window films * Vehicle graphics (desirable) * File preparation for CNC routing and digital printing * Minor artwork amendments and client revisions * Maintaining drawing revisions and document control Skills Required * Proven experience in the signage industry * Adobe Illustrator (essential) * Adobe Photoshop * Adobe InDesign (desirable) * Experience preparing production-ready artwork * Understanding of fabrication methods and installation requirements * Ability to interpret architectural drawings and site measurements * Strong attention to detail * Excellent written English What We're Looking For We value someone who: * Thinks like a production designer, not just a graphic designer * Understands how signs are actually manufactured and installed * Can identify design or manufacturing issues before they become problems * Communicates clearly and meets deadlines * Can work independently with minimal supervision Engagement * Ongoing freelance work * Flexible hours * Approximately 10–30 hours per week initially, with the opportunity to increase as the relationship develops. * Australian business with regular workflow and long-term opportunities.
