On-Site Measurement & Photography — (1,200 sq ft), Knox Street, Dallas TX (One-Time Visit)

We need a local Dallas freelancer to visit a 1,200 sq ft retail construction site at 4555 Travis St, Suite 155, Dallas, TX (Knox Street area) and take verification photos and measurements against our existing drawings. This is a short, single-visit job — not a full as-built survey. Basic familiarity with reading floor plans or construction drawings is a plus, but not required if you're comfortable following clear written instructions. Scope of the visit: 1. Storm drain corner - Measure and confirm the clearance from the face of the storm drain pipe to the face of the adjacent column (we expect approx. 2'0", please confirm exact measurement) - Take clear photos of the pipe, its routing, and the surrounding ceiling/framing condition - Note and photograph any visible cleanout or access point near the pipe 2. Ceiling-mounted FCU (fan coil unit) locations - Locate and measure the two FCUs near the left wall and storm drain corner - Measure clearance/overlap between the FCUs and the seating/fitting area layout below - Photograph both units, including any visible access panels 3. General site documentation - Ceiling height at both flagged areas - Wide reference photos of the overall space - Photograph anything else near the storm drain/FCU zone that looks like it could conflict with a build-out (pipes, ducts, structural elements) not shown on our drawings What to bring: a tape measure or laser measure, and a smartphone camera is sufficient. Deliverables: - All measurements written or marked directly on a simple sketch/plan (we can provide a reference plan) - Photos organized by location (labeled or grouped by folder) - Delivered digitally within 24–48 hours of the site visit We will provide our current floor plan and reflected ceiling plan for reference before the visit so you know exactly what to look for. This is a one-time, short visit (likely 1–2 hours on site given the compact size of the space). Please include your hourly rate and earliest availability in your application.
