SketchUp 3D Designer Needed

landscape designer - sketchup 2D & 3D garden visualisation We are a growing UK landscaping company specialising in high-quality residential garden design and landscaping projects. We are looking for a talented Landscape Designer with strong SketchUp skills to work with us on an ongoing basis. This is not an architectural or interior design role. We specifically want someone with experience designing residential gardens and outdoor spaces. What we need You will receive photographs, measurements, sketches and a design brief from us and turn these into professional garden designs that we can present to our clients. Your work will include: ● Creating accurate garden designs in SketchUp ● Producing professional 2D garden layouts ● Creating detailed 3D garden models ● Producing realistic 3D renders ● Designing patios, porcelain paving, decking, artificial grass, lawns, planting areas, fencing, retaining walls, steps and other landscaping features ● Selecting and applying realistic materials and textures ● Making design changes based on client feedback ● Producing final presentation images suitable for high-end clients ● Working from photographs and measurements taken on site in the UK Software Strong experience with SketchUp is essential. Experience with any of the following is highly desirable: ● Lumion ● D5 Render ● Enscape ● V-Ray ● Photoshop ● AutoCAD The ideal person We are looking for someone who: ● Has a strong portfolio of residential garden/landscape projects ● Has excellent SketchUp skills ● Has a good understanding of landscape design ● Has a strong eye for detail ● Can create realistic and professional-looking designs ● Understands hard landscaping and construction ● Can work from measurements and photographs ● Communicates clearly in English ● Can work independently ● Is reliable and meets deadlines ● Is interested in a long-term working relationship Philippines-based applicants are particularly welcome. How we will start We are initially looking to work with a designer on a paid trial project using one of our real garden projects.
