Snowflake Data Migration - People Data

OVERVIEW We're looking for an experienced data engineer to build our HR people-data platform in Snowflake. You'll create a dedicated HR database within our organization's existing Snowflake account, build API integrations to sync confidential HR/people data from our source systems, model that data into usable tables, and design the security layers that control access. Since this involves sensitive employee data, secure-data experience is essential. WHAT YOU'LL DO Build and maintain API integrations that sync data from our HR systems into Snowflake: UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro), Lattice, Keka, Qualtrics, ChartHop. Model raw source data into clean, consistent, query-ready tables for the HR team. Design and implement the layered security model below. Validate data (reconciliation + QA) with reliable, scheduled refreshes, and document the pipelines and process. GOAL Give the people data & systems team one trusted home for people data: a dedicated HR database in our existing Snowflake account, fed by reliable integrations from all our HR systems (UKG Pro, Lattice, Keka, Qualtrics, ChartHop), modeled into clean and consistent tables, and secured with role-based access so the right people see the right data. SECURITY & ACCESS LAYERS (key requirement) Security architecture is central to this role. You'll design a documented, enforceable access model with the following layers: Carve-out within existing account - the company already runs on Snowflake, so this HR database sits within our existing company-wide account. HR vs. org - HR/people data is walled off to the HR team and not exposed to the wider organization by default. Tiers within HR - role-based access inside HR, so sensitive fields (comp, performance, PII) are limited to need-to-know rather than visible to all of HR.
