I’m looking for a part-time social media outreach and content manager whose primary role is to find and engage existing trusted social-media voices in Colorado and provide them with thoughtful, nonpartisan civic content they can adapt and share with their own audiences. The project will start in Colorado’s 5th Congressional District (CD5) and, if successful, expand to CD8 and CD3. By “trusted voices,” I mean people who already have an established local social-media audience—not necessarily professional influencers. They could be community figures, veterans, outdoor or lifestyle voices, small-business people, podcasters, neighborhood personalities, or individuals with roughly 500–5,000 engaged local followers. The goal is to reach moderate and unaffiliated voters who may tune out conventional political advertising and partisan messaging. Timing: Start ASAP through November 3, 2026 Time: Approximately 5–8 hours per week The Role Find and evaluate existing trusted social-media voices, beginning in CD5. Reach out to and develop relationships with promising participants. Research timely Colorado issues relevant to moderate and unaffiliated voters. Develop approximately 3 pieces of adaptable content per week for my approval. Help participants adapt content to their own voice and audience. Track reach, engagement, and which messengers and messages work best. Expand the network to CD8 and CD3 if it is successful. Content should be credible, pragmatic, respectful, and nonpartisan in tone, focused on issues and practical outcomes rather than political outrage. Ideal Candidate Experience with influencer/creator outreach, social media, civic or political communications, relationship-building, and content development is preferred. Knowledge of Colorado politics and communities would be an advantage. I’m especially interested in someone who understands why trusted messengers can be more persuasive than traditional political advertising. To Apply, please briefly describe: Your relevant social-media or creator-outreach experience. How you would find and engage existing trusted voices in CD5. Any political or civic communications experience. Your hourly rate. Whether you can commit 5–8 hours per week through November 3. If this demonstrates results, the project may continue and expand for future election cycles.
