About Us: The Be Like Ellie Foundation spreads kindness in Ellie’s memory through community programs, kits, and events. We are looking for an empathetic, creative Social Media Manager to help us structure, design, and execute our organic digital marketing strategy across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. What You’ll Do: Develop and maintain a rolling 6-month content calendar reflecting core foundation pillars (Ellie’s Story, Programs/Kits, and Grief/Support). Design high-performing templates and visual assets in Canva to ensure a consistent brand identity across Meta and LinkedIn. Edit engaging short-form video content (Reels) from raw footage/assets provided by our team (e.g., presentation clips, kit packing, community rock painting). Execute hashtag strategy, optimize tag mappings across Facebook and Instagram, and schedule weekly posts for peak engagement. Monitor performance monthly to translate metrics into tactical strategy adjustments. Requirements: Proven track record growing organic engagement on Instagram & Facebook. Excellent short-form video editing skills (Reels/CapCut). Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva or Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop). Familiarity with scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite). Strong tone-of-voice adaptability (ability to handle sensitive topics like grief alongside uplifting kindness initiatives).
