Social Media Research Assistant - Hashtag Monitoring & Data Entry

I run a media and outreach project that tracks public advocacy campaigns on social media. I need a detail-oriented research assistant to monitor a set of hashtags and public posts, and log what they find in a shared spreadsheet. This is quiet, consistent research work, not content creation. What you'll do: - Monitor an assigned list of hashtags and keywords across X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook (campaign-style tags such as #Justice4, #JusticeFor, and similar) - Identify posts where an individual or family is publicly raising awareness about their own situation - Log each find in a Google Sheet: post link, platform, date, name or handle, city and state if stated, a 1 to 2 sentence summary, follower count, engagement numbers - Flag the 5 fastest-growing or most active campaigns each week - Skip duplicates, reposts, news outlets, and anything already logged Requirements: - Fluent navigating hashtag search on X, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook - Clear written English for short neutral summaries - Reliable with spreadsheets and consistent formatting - Research and logging only. You will not comment on, message, or contact anyone whose post you log. This is a hard rule. - Available for one short weekly check-in Hours: 3 to 5 hours per week, ongoing.
