Social Media Strategist — TheJamierRoom Position: Social Media Strategist / Consultant Work Type: Freelance / Contract Schedule: Once Per Month Compensation: Paid Per Monthly Consulting Package Location: Remote About TheJamierRoom TheJamierRoom is a growing Twitch-centered entertainment brand focused on gaming, reactions, personality-driven content, and building a strong community known as the Roommates. We’re looking for a creative and analytical Social Media Strategist who understands creator culture and can help us develop a stronger strategy across Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and X. This is not a full-time or part-time position. This is a consulting-based role where the strategist will work with TheJamierRoom once per month to review our performance and develop the strategy for the upcoming month. Responsibilities * Review monthly social media and content performance. * Analyze what’s working and what isn’t across our platforms. * Identify trends and content opportunities relevant to TheJamierRoom. * Recommend strategies for growing Twitch viewership and followers. * Help determine which stream moments should become clips, Shorts, Reels, and TikToks. * Recommend posting schedules, content formats, and platform-specific strategies. * Provide direction on improving engagement, reach, and audience retention. * Review competitors and other successful creators for useful strategies and trends. * Work with TheJamierRoom team to develop monthly content goals. * Provide 3–5 actionable strategies or experiments for the team to implement each month. * Review the results of previous strategies during the following month’s consultation. Monthly Zoom Consultation The Social Media Strategist will participate in one scheduled Zoom meeting per month with TheJamierRoom as part of the monthly consulting package. The meeting will typically last 60–90 minutes and will be used to: * Review the previous month’s analytics and overall performance. * Discuss what strategies worked and what should be adjusted. * Review upcoming streams, games, events, and content opportunities. * Discuss current social media and creator trends. * Establish priorities and goals for the upcoming month. * Present recommendations and new strategies to the team. * Answer questions and provide professional feedback on the direction of the brand. The strategist should review TheJamierRoom’s recent content and available analytics before the Zoom consultation so that the meeting can focus on actionable recommendations rather than basic observations. What We’re Looking For * Strong understanding of Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and X. * Knowledge of gaming, streaming, and internet/creator culture. * Ability to understand social media analytics and turn numbers into actionable ideas. * Familiarity with short-form content strategy. * Creative thinker who isn’t afraid to suggest new ideas. * Strong communication and organization skills. * Ability to explain why a strategy should work instead of simply telling us what to post. * Comfortable participating in monthly Zoom consultations with TheJamierRoom team. Previous experience working with streamers, YouTubers, gaming creators, or entertainment brands is highly preferred.
