Sr.Software Engineer - Client-Facing Software Role

About the Opportunity We're a growing software startup expanding into the U.S. market, and we're looking for an experienced U.S.-based software professional to work with us as a long-term technical partner. This is a client-facing role for someone with a strong software development background who enjoys talking with clients, understanding their technical needs, and working closely with an experienced development team. You do not need to write code for this role. Our development team handles implementation. Your role is to help us build strong relationships with U.S. clients and make sure their technical requirements are clearly understood and communicated to our development team. What You'll Do - Join meetings and calls with U.S. clients - Understand their business and technical requirements - Ask the right technical questions and identify important details - Explain technical concepts clearly to clients - Discuss software architecture, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and integrations when appropriate - Communicate client requirements clearly to our development team - Help ensure everyone is aligned on project goals, technical requirements, and expectations - Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with clients Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: - Currently based in the U.S. - An experienced software developer, engineer, architect, technical consultant, solutions architect, or similar professional - Comfortable discussing software architecture, development, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and related technical topics - A strong English communicator - Comfortable leading or participating in client meetings - Able to understand both business needs and technical requirements - Professional, reliable, and comfortable working independently - Comfortable communicating technical requirements between clients and an offshore or distributed development team Why Join Us? - $100-$200/hour, depending on experience - Part-time and flexible - No coding required - focus on technical communication and client relationships - Work directly with U.S. clients - Opportunity to use your technical experience in a more client-facing role - Potential for a long-term engagement as we expand our U.S. client relationships - Work alongside an established software development team Time Commitment - Part-time - The exact schedule will depend on client needs and your availability. - There is potential for an ongoing, long-term engagement based on client needs and performance.
