A Solidity Developer - Smart Contracts & DeFi / Web3
Worldwide
I'm looking for an experienced Solidity Developer to help me build and maintain production-grade smart contracts and Web3 applications. I'm looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in Solidity, EVM, smart-contract architecture, DeFi, and blockchain security. The role requires someone who can take ownership of technical tasks, write clean and secure code, and work independently. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain Solidity smart contracts - Build and integrate DeFi protocols, tokens, staking, DEX, or other Web3 functionality - Work with OpenZeppelin, Foundry, and/or Hardhat - Write comprehensive unit, integration, and security tests - Review existing contracts and identify potential vulnerabilities - Optimize contracts for gas efficiency, security, and maintainability - Deploy and verify contracts across EVM-compatible networks - Integrate smart contracts with backend services and Web3 frontends when required - Debug and resolve issues during development, testing, and production Requirements - Strong professional experience with Solidity and EVM - Solid understanding of smart-contract architecture and blockchain fundamentals - Real experience building and deploying production smart contracts - Strong knowledge of common smart-contract vulnerabilities and security best practices - Experience with Foundry or Hardhat - Good understanding of ERC-20, ERC-721/1155, DeFi protocols, and token mechanics - Ability to read, review, test, and improve existing Solidity code - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Nice to Have - Experience with DeFi, DEXs, lending, staking, vaults, or tokenization - Experience with smart-contract audits and remediation of audit findings - Experience with Ethers.js, Viem, TypeScript, or Node.js - Experience with LayerZero or other cross-chain protocols - Experience optimizing complex contracts for gas and security - Contributions to open-source Web3 projects This is a long-term remote opportunity. I'm looking for someone who can become a reliable technical contributor rather than someone interested only in short-term tasks. When applying, please tell me about 2–3 Solidity projects you personally built, what you were responsible for, and whether the contracts are publicly available. Please also include your GitHub/portfolio, hourly rate, and availability. I'm particularly interested in candidates with real production deployments and hands-on smart-contract experience, not just theoretical Solidity knowledge.
