Spanish Book Editor Needed (Proofreading & Quality Review)

We're looking for a detail-oriented Spanish Editor to review completed Spanish manuscripts before publication. The books are primarily puzzle and activity books for adults and seniors. Your role is to ensure the Spanish reads naturally, is grammatically correct, and provides a smooth reading experience for native speakers. Responsibilities: Proofread completed Spanish manuscripts Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting inconsistencies Improve wording where needed while preserving the author's intended meaning Ensure the language sounds natural to native Spanish readers Flag any awkward phrasing, repeated content, or inconsistencies Verify that headings, instructions, and puzzle content remain clear and consistent throughout the book We're looking for someone who: Is a native or fluent Spanish speaker Has professional editing or proofreading experience Has excellent attention to detail Can work independently and meet deadlines Has experience editing books, educational materials, or activity books (preferred but not required) Project Details: Ongoing work available for the right editor Clear editing guidelines will be provided Most projects require proofreading and light copy editing rather than major rewriting We'd prefer edits to be made using Track Changes (Microsoft Word) or comments in the manuscript for easy review We're looking for someone who is reliable, communicates well, and takes pride in producing polished, publication-ready manuscripts.
