Spanish Tutor for Family of 4 — Adults + Children | Long-Term Fluency Goal We are a family of four looking for an experienced, engaging Spanish tutor to help our entire family learn to speak Spanish fluently. Our family includes: 2 adults 12-year-old daughter 7-year-old daughter Our goal is not simply to memorize vocabulary or complete worksheets. We want to develop real conversational Spanish and eventually become comfortable and fluent speaking, listening, and communicating in everyday situations. What We're Looking For We would love to find a tutor who can work with both adults and children and create a structured, long-term learning plan for our family. We are looking for someone who can help us with: Conversational Spanish Speaking confidently and naturally Listening comprehension Pronunciation and accent Vocabulary and grammar Reading and writing as appropriate Everyday phrases and real-life conversations Building toward long-term fluency Because our daughters are 12 and 7, lessons for them should be fun, interactive, and age-appropriate rather than overly academic. Games, conversation, challenges, activities, music, stories, and other creative learning methods are welcome. For the adults, we would like a stronger focus on practical conversation and being able to comfortably communicate in Spanish in real-world situations. Ideal Tutor Our ideal tutor: Is fluent or a native Spanish speaker Has experience teaching both children and adults Has experience taking beginners toward conversational fluency Is patient, energetic, and engaging Corrects pronunciation and grammar rather than allowing bad habits to develop Provides structure and tracks our progress Gives us things to practice between lessons Encourages us to actually SPEAK Spanish during lessons Is interested in working with our family consistently and long-term We are open to a combination of family lessons and separate lessons if you believe that would be more effective because of the age differences. Our Goal Ultimately, we would love for Spanish to become a second language for our family — not something we study temporarily and forget. We understand that fluency takes time, and we are looking for someone who can help us build a consistent routine and progress from beginner Spanish to confidently holding conversations.
