Worldwide
AutoCAD Drafter — Address City of LA Planning Corrections on Landscape Sheets A residential project in Los Angeles received a correction list from City Planning. Most items fall on the landscape and irrigation sheets. Existing .dwg files, architectural base sheets, and the correction letter will be provided. You will work under the direction of the project architect of record, who reviews and seals the final sheets. No design judgment required — the design exists and the corrections are specified. SCOPE: 1. Front yard — show all area not used for driveways/walkways as planted, with automatic irrigation. One 15-gallon tree minimum, 6 ft tall at planting, per 500 SF of planted area. 2. Create new Landscape and Irrigation Plans for the rooftop open space area (approx. 583 SF). No rooftop landscape sheet currently exists — this is new sheet creation. An irrigation stub to the roof is already noted on the existing irrigation plan. 3. Show location of protected replacement trees. 4. Plant legend — add a column noting whether each species is indigenous to Los Angeles. (Existing legend has a WUCOLS column; the indigenous column is new.) 5. Dimension all planters not on finished grade — both depth and horizontal. 6. Add soil volume note/calc for required trees. 7. Label protected trees/shrubs 4" or greater cumulative diameter, and non-protected trees 8" or greater, on site and in the adjacent right-of-way. (Existing tree data will be provided.) 8. Show open space amenities per the open space sheet. 9. Reconcile tree count across the sheet. The legend, the planter note, and the rear yard plan currently show three different quantities. Required count is 18. 10. Reconcile landscape area tabulation between the site legend and the LAMC 12.21G compliance note. 11. Update the water efficient landscape ordinance signature block — currently dated 2024 and needs to be re-dated for resubmittal. 12. Clean output: legible plotted PDF at full sheet size, plus .dwg. DELIVERABLES: Stamped revised sheets L1.0 and L2.0 plus new rooftop sheets, in AutoCAD, matching the existing title block and layer standards. Print-ready PDF at full sheet size. One round of revisions included after architect review. TIMELINE: Draft in 7 calendar days, final in 10. This is tied to a municipal filing deadline. Please do not apply if you cannot commit. REQUIREMENTS: - AutoCAD proficiency - Experience working inside an existing consultant plan set - Prior US / California landscape sheets a plus - Daily responsiveness during the engagement TO APPLY, PLEASE PROVIDE: 1. One sample landscape sheet you drafted 2. Confirmation you can deliver a draft within 7 days 3. Fixed-price bid for the full scope above
