Story Producer / Narrative Content Strategist & Interviewer for Personal Brand
Worldwide
I am looking for a highly curious and creative story producer / narrative content strategist / interviewer to help me build a long-term personal media project. This is not primarily a journalism or copywriting position. I have many personal experiences, ideas and stories, but I need someone who can explore them with me through conversation and interviews, recognize which parts have emotional and narrative power, and turn them into compelling content. The broader project explores questions around love, human connection, relationships, independence, work, success, fear, and the way modern society influences how we live. I do not want conventional motivational or coaching content. I want to tell real stories that make people curious, provoke thought and sometimes challenge commonly accepted assumptions. You would work alongside a filmmaker/video creator and a social media specialist. Your role would include: interviewing me and asking intelligent, sometimes unexpected questions discovering strong stories and ideas within longer conversations identifying emotional turning points, contradictions, tension and memorable moments helping determine which stories are worth developing developing narrative structures for videos, interviews and short-form content helping create strong openings/hooks without turning the content into clickbait suggesting how one story could become a longer video and several short pieces collaborating with the filmmaker and social media specialist on what should be produced gradually helping develop a recognizable narrative identity around my personal brand What I am looking for I care much more about how you think than about your formal job title. You might come from documentary filmmaking, journalism, podcast production, interviewing, storytelling, YouTube production, narrative development or content strategy. I am particularly interested in people who are genuinely curious about other people and can recognize an interesting story where others might overlook it. Strong English is important. When applying, please do not send me a generic marketing proposal. Instead, please answer these three questions: 1. Tell me about one interview, documentary, podcast, video or story you worked on where you discovered something unexpected through the conversation. What did you recognize in the story? 2. Imagine I tell you a 20-minute personal story. How would you decide which 30–60 seconds might be worth turning into a short video? 3. What would you want to know about me before deciding how my story should be presented online? Please also send 1–3 examples of relevant work and explain what your personal role was in each project. I would initially like to start with a small paid test project. If we work well together, I am interested in an ongoing collaboration.
