Project Overview Looking for a creative and skilled Storyboard / Layout Artist to help bring an original 20-page one-shot comic to life. The project currently has a 5-page script/transcript that needs to be paced, broken down, and expanded into a cohesive, visually dynamic 20-page panel layout. Key Responsibilities Translate a 5-page script into a full 20-page comic storyboard/rough layout. Establish effective page sequencing, panel layouts, shot composition, and visual pacing. Collaborate closely to refine the creative vision and visual narrative before moving into final inks/pencils. Requirements Hand-Drawn 2D Artistry: Strong proficiency in traditional or digital 2D drawing. Strictly no AI-generated illustration or assets. Visual Storytelling: Solid understanding of comic book paneling, camera angles, character expression, and narrative flow. Portfolio: Demonstrations of prior comic layouts, storyboards, sequential art, or paneling samples. Communication: Ability to take direction, offer creative input, and meet agreed-upon milestones. Timeline & Deliverables Timeline: Project completion within the next 30 days. Deliverable: 20 pages of clean, readable comic storyboards/rough layouts ready for final line art.
