Storyboard / Visual Script Writer for Animated Videos

We’re looking for a creative Storyboard / Visual Script Writer for animated history YouTube videos. You’ll receive a completed script and turn it into a clear scene-by-scene visual production plan for our animators and editors. For each section of the script, you’ll decide how the story should be shown visually, for example: Full character animation / dialogue scenes Geopolitical map animations Main-character/narrator scenes Camera movements, zooms and transitions Editor/footage sections Backgrounds, characters, props and other visual elements You will not need to animate or draw the video yourself. Your job is to creatively visualize the script and give our production team clear direction on what should happen on screen. Our videos combine history, geopolitics, storytelling, humor and animation, so we’re looking for someone with strong visual storytelling instincts who can turn narration into entertaining scenes rather than simply describing what the narrator is saying. Experience with storyboarding, animation, visual scripting, directing or animated YouTube content is highly preferred. Please include examples of relevant storyboard or visual-planning work with your application.
