Strategic Operations & Implementation Manager

I’m looking for someone who is organized, resourceful, and good at figuring things out. I run a growing business and I’m looking for someone who can work directly with me on different projects and help turn ideas or problems into actual results. Sometimes I’ll give you clear instructions. Other times, I may give you a goal and ask you to figure out the best way to get there. -- What you’ll be doing -- Your projects may include things like: * Researching a business question and helping me make a decision * Finding and comparing vendors, services, or software * Improving internal processes and workflows * Helping me build or improve hiring systems * Working on our CRM and other business tools * Coordinating with freelancers, vendors, or team members * Creating SOPs and keeping projects organized * Following up on tasks and making sure things keep moving * Looking at a problem, figuring out what’s causing it, and suggesting a solution * Helping me research and work through different business projects You won’t be expected to know everything. What matters most to me is that you’re comfortable learning, asking good questions, doing research, and taking ownership of your work. -- I’m looking for someone who: -- * Has strong problem-solving skills * Can work independently without needing constant direction * Is organized and follows through * Communicates clearly in English * Is comfortable researching and learning new things * Can manage several projects at once * Is comfortable coordinating with other people * Can use Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and project management tools * Isn’t afraid to say, “I’m not sure, but I’ll figure it out.” Previous experience in operations, project management, business, or working with a small business is a plus. You don’t need a specific degree or certification. I’m more interested in how you think and how you approach problems. -- A good example of the type of work -- I might say: “I need to improve our hiring process. Take a look at what we’re doing now and figure out how we can make it better.” I’d expect you to look at the current process, identify what’s missing, research possible solutions, talk to the right people if needed, recommend an approach, and help put it into place. You don’t have to know the answer on day one. I need someone who can figure out how to find the answer. -- Experience -- I’m open to people from different backgrounds.
