Strategic Partnerships & Business Development – Finance & Accounting

We are a boutique, Texas-based Finance & Accounting firm with an outsourced accounting / BPO practice, and we're looking to connect with an experienced business development professional who understands the CFO and finance executive market. The ideal candidate has an established professional network within the finance and accounting community and experience building relationships with senior executives. Ideal Background We're particularly interested in candidates who have: A background in finance, accounting, or corporate finance Experience working with CFOs, Controllers, CEOs, or other senior executives Relationships with executives at middle-market and larger companies, generally $100M–$5B in revenue Consulting, advisory, accounting, or professional services experience Strong communication and relationship-building skills Operators who have spent time in finance and accounting organizations are especially interesting to us because they understand the problems CFOs and finance teams are trying to solve. The Opportunity This role will focus on developing strategic relationships within the CFO and finance executive community and identifying opportunities where our firm may be able to help. Responsibilities may include: Developing relationships with CFOs and senior finance executives Identifying companies that may benefit from outsourced or supplemental Finance & Accounting services Facilitating introductions between qualified prospects and our team Helping us develop strategic relationships and partnerships within the finance community Providing market feedback on the needs and challenges facing finance organizations We are open to structuring this initially as a contract engagement, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity for the right person. Compensation Compensation will include a success-based component tied to qualified business opportunities that result in new client engagements. We can discuss the specific structure with qualified candidates during the interview process.
