Scope of Work – Structural Drafting Services, Villa i12, Apes Hill, Barbados The drafting technician is engaged to advance the structural design of the Villa i12 residence from preliminary engineering drawings (plans, beam details, column details, typical sections) to a full construction-ready set, under the direction and review of the structural engineer of record, coordinated with architectural drawings to be provided. Deliverables shall be issued in native CAD format and PDF, accompanied by a drawing register. - Foundation details – footing/pad, pile cap or raft details as applicable, grade beam sections, foundation-to-column starter bar/embed details, damp-proofing/waterproofing detailing at foundation level - Framing sections – full-width and cross sections through each floor level and roof, showing beam/slab/column relationships not covered by the typical sections already issued - Connection/joint details – beam-to-column, beam-to-beam, slab-to-beam, and any steel-to-concrete or transfer connections - Slab details – slab edges, openings, steps/level changes, balcony and cantilever details, expansion/control joints - Stair details – stringer/waist slab sections, landing details, connections to supporting structure - Roof framing details – parapet details, roof-to-wall tie-ins, any timber/steel roof framing connections - Openings and special features – lintel/opening details in structural walls, pool/water feature structural details if applicable, any feature elements (e.g., gazebo, basement) shown on the architectural set - Schedules – column and beam sizing schedules (no bar bending schedules required) - Coordination with architectural drawings for openings, embeds, finished levels, etc. - Deliverables: native CAD files, PDF set, drawing register - Timeline: 2-week turnaround; progress review at end of Week 1; formal markup/review at Week 2 submission; markup resolution timeline agreed case-by-case
