Student Housing or Multifamily Property Accountant Entrata Experience Only

We have one student housing property in Entrata with several prior months still open. We need an experienced property management accountant to audit those periods, correct whatever is wrong, and close them out cleanly. This is a one-time, defined-scope project, not an ongoing bookkeeping role. Once the open months are closed and the books are accurate, the engagement is complete. However, this could become a recurring part-time engagement in the future. SCOPE OF WORK - Reconcile bank statements to Entrata and post journal entries as needed. This may require opening prior closed months to ensure the statements are reconciled. - Review all prior open months in Entrata - Audit the general ledger for misposted, missing, duplicated, or misclassified entries - Complete or correct bank reconciliations for the open periods - Review and correct prepaid and accrued expense entries - Prepare and post correcting journal entries as needed - Close each open month in Entrata in proper sequence - Deliver clean P&L and balance sheet for the closed periods - Provide monthly financial packages corresponding with the open months May also include: - Posting outstanding invoices for payment - Setting up new vendors in Entrata
