Tax Admin / Accounting Assistant (Part-Time)

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Tax Admin / Accounting Assistant to support our tax team. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong organization, communication, and follow-up skills. Responsibilities: Assist with tax extensions Follow up with clients to collect missing documents Prepare and track Power of Attorney (POA) forms Assist with S Corporation elections Coordinate new client onboarding Schedule and assist with bookkeeping kickoff calls Schedule and assist with tax kickoff calls Support the Tax Advisory team Provide administrative support to tax accountants Serve as the liaison between the R&D and Cost Segregation teams Help manage and organize emails Call prospective clients and follow up on leads Follow up on engagement letters and signature forms Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients Qualifications: Experience working in a tax or accounting firm preferred TaxDome experience is highly preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent client service and follow-up abilities Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Bookkeeping or accounting knowledge is a plus
