Taxi Booking App

We are planning to start a local taxi booking/brokerage business . We are looking for a developer who can build a taxi booking app. For the first version, we want to keep it simple and use one mobile app for both customers and drivers. The user will select/login as either Customer or Driver and the app should show the relevant features. We also need a web admin panel to manage the whole business. Customer side Customers should be able to: - Login using mobile number/OTP - Select pickup and drop location - Use current GPS location - See distance/estimated fare - Select different vehicle types - Book immediately - Schedule a cab for later - Local trips - Outstation one-way and round trips - Rental/hourly bookings - See driver details after booking - Track driver live on map - Call/contact driver - See booking status - Cancel booking - Make cash/UPI/online payment - Give rating/review - See previous bookings Google Maps integration will be required for pickup/drop, distance, route and live driver tracking. Driver side After logging in as a driver, the driver should have a different dashboard. Driver should be able to: - Complete driver and vehicle registration - Upload licence, RC, insurance etc. - Wait for admin approval - Go online/offline - Receive nearby booking requests - Accept/reject bookings - See customer pickup location - Navigate to customer - Update status (arriving/arrived/start trip/complete trip) - Share live location - See trip history - See earnings - See company commission - Contact customer Admin panel We need a web admin panel where we can manage: - Customers - Drivers - Vehicles - Driver documents/approval - Bookings - Live trips - Manual bookings - Driver assignment/reassignment - Pricing - Vehicle categories - Company commission - Driver earnings - Payments - Ratings/reviews Manual booking is important because some customers may simply call our office and ask us to arrange a cab. Admin should be able to create the booking and assign a driver from the dashboard. Pricing We want pricing to be controlled from the admin panel. For example: - Base fare - Per km - Per hour - Waiting charges - Night charges - Local fare - Outstation fare - Rental packages - One-way/round-trip pricing We should be able to change these later without changing the app code. Commission This is a taxi brokerage model. For example, if customer pays ₹1,500, the driver may get ₹1,300 and our company keeps ₹200. The admin should be able to set either a fixed commission or percentage commission and see driver/company earnings. Booking flow Something like: Customer requests booking → Driver receives request → Driver accepts → Driver goes to pickup → Driver arrives → Trip starts → Trip completed → Payment completed We also need push notifications for important booking updates. Technology We are open to your recommendation, but Flutter would be preferred for the mobile app. Backend can be Node.js/Laravel/etc. depending on what you recommend. We will need: - Mobile app - Backend/API - Database - Admin web panel - Google Maps - OTP - Push notifications - Payment gateway The system should be built properly so that we can add more cities later. We don't need every advanced Uber feature in the first version. The priority is to have a stable booking system that actually works well. Please send with your proposal: 1.
