We are seeking an experienced technical editor to review and refine articles related to building systems and components. Our organization is a trade-focused group that values straightforward, educational content. Responsibilities: Edit articles to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professional tone. Ensure content follows our standard structure: Define the system/components, describe how it works, review common components,List common deficiencies, include inspection scope per ComSOP / inspector takeaways Maintain a consistent, concise, and trade-oriented voice. Suggest improvements for technical accuracy and readability. Requirements: Background in building construction, inspection, or related fields. Proven experience in technical editing or content review. Ability to adhere to a structured format and trade-focused tone. Attention to detail and commitment to factual accuracy. Preferred: Familiarity with trade organizations and technical documentation. Strong grasp of construction terminology and standards. All materials, responses, and work samples must be prepared independently by the applicant. AI-generated or AI-assisted submissions are not permitted.
