Technical Content Writer - Defense, Aerospace & Emerging Technology

We are looking for a strong Technical Content Writer to create educational and thought leadership content for a growing technology company. We need someone who can research complex technical subjects, understand them quickly, and turn that research into clear, credible, and engaging content for a professional audience. This is not a generic SEO writing role. Technical accuracy, research quality, and original thinking are important. Responsibilities: * Research and write technical articles and explainers * Develop educational and thought leadership content * Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging writing * Research industry developments and identify relevant content opportunities * Use credible sources to support technical content * Incorporate feedback from internal subject matter experts * Revise content as needed before publication Topics will generally relate to areas such as defense technology, aerospace, autonomous systems, drones/UAS, AI, security, and other emerging technologies. We anticipate approximately **3 technical pieces per month**, with the potential for additional assignments. We're looking for someone who: * Has strong technical writing and research skills * Can understand complex subjects quickly * Can write for a knowledgeable professional audience * Produces original, well-researched content rather than generic material * Can independently research unfamiliar subjects * Is comfortable receiving technical feedback and making revisions * Has strong attention to factual accuracy Previous experience writing about defense, aerospace, drones/UAS, AI, cybersecurity, geospatial technology, or related technical industries is strongly preferred.
