Technical DIY Garage Video Editing

I'm looking for a video editor to help edit technical DIY garage and fabrication videos filmed on a DJI camera. The content is focused on real-world mechanical work, fabrication, machining, welding, 3D printing, shop projects, and equipment repair. I will record a voiceover for every video, so your primary job is to edit the footage to match the narration, keeping the pacing engaging while showing the right shots at the right time. What I need: - Edit raw DJI footage into polished YouTube videos (typically 10–30 minutes). - Sync video with my recorded voiceover. - Remove dead time and repetitive footage. - Use the best camera angles and B-roll to support the narration. - Add zooms, callouts, labels, graphics, and occasional animations to highlight important technical details. - Add background music where appropriate without distracting from the narration. - Clean up audio when needed. - Create captions when requested. - Deliver both the finished video and project files. Style I'm looking for: - Clean, professional, and easy to follow. - Educational but entertaining. - Strong storytelling through visuals that complement the voiceover. - Similar to quality automotive, fabrication, machining, and engineering YouTube channels. Requirements: - Experience editing YouTube videos. - Strong English communication. - Ability to understand technical or mechanical topics. - Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut. - Reliable turnaround times. - Willing to make revisions.
