Technical Implementation PM — International Supply Chain & Warehouse Integrations
Worldwide
We are seeking an experienced Technical Implementation Project Manager to lead the rollout of a new supply chain integration solution for a large enterprise customer. Our engineering team is responsible for designing and building the solution. This is not a software development or solution architecture role. Your role will be to own and drive the implementation process across multiple internal and external stakeholders. The solution will support an international origin distribution and consolidation operation, where cargo from multiple factories and suppliers is received at an origin warehouse/consolidation facility, managed against customer purchase orders and shipping plans, and ultimately consolidated into ocean freight containers. The technology will serve as an integration and operational coordination layer between the enterprise customer, origin operations, third-party warehouse/consolidation facilities and their WMS platforms, and our internal technology and operations teams. It will exchange data across multiple enterprise systems and feeds, including purchase orders, ASNs, shipment information, cargo receipts, load-planning instructions, and operational status updates. Responsibilities include: Create and maintain a comprehensive implementation project plan Gather, organize, and document business and technical requirements Coordinate integration touchpoints across multiple systems, organizations, and international locations Manage timelines, dependencies, milestones, owners, risks, and open issues Work with our engineering team to identify information and decisions required from external parties Coordinate with origin warehouses, consolidation facilities, and technology partners regarding APIs, SFTP/file exchange, EDI, data formats, data mapping, and other integration requirements Understand the operational flow from factory/supplier → origin warehouse/consolidation → container loading → export → destination/import Work effectively with stakeholders involved in international freight, import/export processes, customs clearance, and associated shipping and customs documentation Translate between technical teams, international operations teams, account management, warehouses, and customer stakeholders Identify gaps, blockers, risks, and unresolved dependencies before they affect implementation Maintain a clear source of truth for project status, requirements, decisions, action items, and ownership Drive follow-ups and ensure stakeholders deliver required information and actions on schedule Coordinate testing, validation, UAT, implementation readiness, and go-live activities Provide a quality-control layer across the implementation, validating that data and operational statuses remain synchronized between connected systems and identifying discrepancies or gaps Ideal background: We are specifically looking for someone who has managed complex, multi-party technology implementations involving international supply chain and logistics operations. Experience with origin warehouses, consolidation facilities, freight forwarding, ocean freight, WMS, ERP, TMS, EDI, or similar enterprise supply chain systems is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of international shipping, import/export processes, customs clearance, and the documentation associated with international freight movements is also highly desirable. You should be technically fluent enough to participate confidently in conversations involving APIs, SFTP, EDI, data mapping, system integrations, legacy systems, and data synchronization, but you will not be expected to design the technical architecture or write production code. The right person can walk into a complicated international implementation involving multiple companies, countries, systems, and operational teams; quickly determine who owns what; identify what is missing; impose structure on the project; and relentlessly drive it toward successful implementation. Expected engagement: Approximately 3–6 months, with the potential to extend depending on implementation needs.
