Technical Lead / Python Software Engineer – Quantitative Finance

Python Technical Lead – Quantitative Finance & AI Taittinger Capital Holdings is an early-stage quantitative finance and research company working across quantitative finance, software engineering, computational modeling, and AI. We are looking for a Technical Lead to work directly with the founder and oversee core engineering work. Responsibilities - Lead and review software development - Maintain code quality, testing, and documentation - Translate research requirements into engineering tasks - Identify technical issues and blockers - Coordinate technical contributors - Maintain engineering continuity Requirements - Strong software engineering fundamentals - Python and Git/GitHub - Experience with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Codex - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills - Interest in quantitative finance, ML, or computational research - Able to work independently Position - Part-time contractor - 20–25 hours/week - 3-month initial engagement, with potential extension - Direct collaboration with the founder - Significant responsibility in an early-stage technical team Compensation: approximately $5–$15/hour, depending on experience.
